Goals
- Improve knowledge of food and nutrition through educational and experiential learning opportunities, academic coursework and promotion of healthy eating resources on and off campus.
- Leverage efforts and partnerships to improve food security and access through collaboration with the UC Global Food Initiative and Basic Needs workgroup.
- Increase and promote healthy food and beverage options at all eating venues on campus through promotion and utilization of the Seeds of Change Philosophy.

Seeds of Change is a UCR initiative that promotes healthy and sustainable food that is better for you and the planet (i.e. whole grains, sustainable/local, healthier oils, think produce first, and legume-based).
